Winter in South Africa is officially here, and while we may not be snowed in, the colder mornings and longer nights can take a toll on your vehicle

Here are some essential tips to keep you safe, warm, and on the road this June

Check your battery

Cold weather affects battery performance. If your car is struggling to start in the mornings, it might be time for a battery testβor a replacement.

Keep an eye on your tyres

Lower temperatures can cause tyre pressure to drop. Underinflated tyres wear out faster and reduce grip on wet or icy roads. Pop in for a pressure check and tread inspection.

Test your heater & defroster

Make sure your heater is blowing warm air and your defroster is clearing up foggy windows. Donβt wait until youβre shivering in morning traffic to find out somethingβs not working.

Top up your fluids

Coolant, oil, and windshield washer fluid all play important roles during winter. Let us help you check and top up where needed.

Keep an emergency kit in your car

Jumper cables, a blanket, flashlight, and basic tools can go a long way if you ever get stuck or stranded. (A packet of tissues and some snacks donβt hurt either!
